Week of September 4-10, 2006

***La Notte Bianca--This year's version of 'The White Night' is taking place this weekend. Beginning at 8PM Sat and concluding Sun at 8AM, all of the stores, museums, theatres, streets, and squares will be open to give you a chance to spend the whole night exploring all corners of Rome. On this night the entire city transforms itself into cultural and artistic mecca, offering tours, concerts, lectures, and food and wine tastings. This is one of the most interesting and culturally vibrant nights of the year in Rome, with thousands of artists, shopkeepers, galleries, and institutes taking part. Don't miss out!
